Civil Service Chess League

We enter two teams in the London Civil Service, Post Office and Municipal Chess League. Under the CS League's rules past or present employees of certain London government bodies and 'affiliate' players only, may play for the club in these teams. To be eligible for this league, GLCC players must have been employed at the Greater London Council, London Residual Body, current Greater London Authority, or as an 'affiliate' player must have been a member of the club for three full seasons.

For the 2010-11 season, GLCC has teams in the 2nd division (6 boards) and 4th division (5 boards) of the League. The 1st team captain is Jim Robinson (tel 020 8293 3325) and the 2nd team captain is Paul Efstathiou (tel 07963 272669).
